Why We Don’t Offer Fixed-Price Servicing

Unlike fast-fit chains or main dealers, we don’t believe every car — even cars of the same model — should be treated the same.

Your car’s:

• Age

• Mileage

• Usage

• Modification level

• Service history

• Mechanical condition

all affect what it actually needs.

A fixed-price service assumes every car requires the same work, the same checks, and the same time. In our experience, that simply isn’t true — especially with performance, modified, or enthusiast-owned vehicles.

We are a specialist garage, and that means we tailor our work to the individual car in front of us.

Servicing Done Properly — Not Just “By the Book”

Dealer servicing is based on minimum manufacturer schedules. That’s fine for keeping a warranty intact, but it often leaves important things unchecked.

When we service a car, we go beyond ticking boxes.

Depending on the vehicle, we carry out a full health check thatmay include:

• Inspect suspension components and bushes

• Check steering joints and geometry-related wear

• Examine brakes, hoses, and fluid condition properly

• Assess drivetrain, mounts, and known weak points

• Look for early signs of issues before they become failures

If something needs attention, we’ll explain why, show you if needed, and discuss options before any work is carried out.

Modified Cars Need a Different Approach

Many of the cars we look after are not standard — and that’s exactly where fixed-price servicing falls down.

Lowered suspension, upgraded brakes, performance parts, engine swaps, or track use all change how a car wears and what it needs.

We understand these cars because we build and maintain them ourselves. That experience allows us to care for your car properly, rather than servicing it as if it were still factory standard.
