Before carrying out any remap, we'll identify the vehicle and discuss what you want from it. The vehicle is checked before programming and the appropriate calibration is then installed using professional ECU programming equipment.

This gives us a reliable solution for the majority of standard and lightly modified vehicles without treating every vehicle as though it needs an expensive bespoke tuning process.

Some vehicles need more than an off-the-shelf calibration.

For selected supported vehicles, Modurstang also offers custom calibration using HP Tuners.

This allows us to work directly with the vehicle's ECU calibration and datalog the vehicle, making changes specifically for its hardware, modifications and intended use.

Custom tuning can include areas such as:

2. Vehicle Health Check

A remap shouldn't be used to disguise an existing problem.

We'll carry out appropriate diagnostic checks before programming and let you know if we find anything that should be addressed first.

3. Read & Program

The vehicle's ECU is accessed using professional tuning equipment and the appropriate calibration is programmed.

Depending on the vehicle this may be completed through the diagnostic port, directly at the ECU or using another manufacturer-specific programming method.

4. Check & Road Test

Once programmed, we'll check the vehicle and ensure everything is operating correctly.

Then it's time to enjoy the difference.
