Our Cars- Lee’s Sierra

Everyone loves a burnout pic.

Lee has had his Pro Street Sierra since 2011 when he bought it as a project, yes, he has owned this even longer than he’s worked for Modurstang! Over the next 4 years he rebuilt it with a 383 Small block Chevy. Its a steet motor, no forged internals or anything posh and it runs on pump fuel.

Just because its a street motor it doesn’t mean it cant look sexy.

He raced it in Pro ET from 2015 with meetings at Santa Pod and Shakespeare County Raceway (RIP) until 2017 when he finished as the runner up in the National Championship. It went back in the workshop for some more jobs at the end of the 2017 season but with delays and then Covid its hasn’t made its way back out yet.

It has run a 9.84 @135mph but with some more development this is definatly going to come down some more.

Mike presenting Lee with a trophy for beating him.

The engine is currently away for some checks and balancing ready for reassembly. There are a few upgrades on the shelf waiting to be fitted and then Lee can start working on getting it out for some meetings in the 2023 season (we hope)!
